WELCOME TO FARCYDES STUFF
Alex (46), from Bavaria, Germany. Since my job makes me polish a chair with my ass all day, I like making things with my hands (and get them dirty now and then) in my free time. The stuff here is what I do, and since I’m a curious person there is a LOT of different stuff. Also, I’m some kind of a part-time northener meanwhile, having an old house to renovate and maintain, so I won’t run out of work and new things to learn in the near future.
Apart from that: Much cooking. I’m everything but a studied chef, but I’m a committed hobby cook, always trying to professionalize – and I like eating and getting my kitchen dirty. My body weight tells the story.
Lastly, I’m trying to gather some assorted information here that I find useful, as well as the inevitable general miscellaneous stuff. With this, I’ll at least be trying to deliver some kind of “additional benefit”. So, whenever I publish something that I think is worth the effort, I’ll try to give continuing links, descriptions, plans & measures or also recipes if I can. I’d be happy if people out there give my stuff a try and perhaps even have a good time with it. Of course I appreciate any comment or feedback you might leave me here!
So what is this “Farcyde”-thing all about? Read William Gibson’s game-changing novel Neuromancer from 1984, that’s where the name is borrowed from.
