Very very yummy! Another one that I really wanted to try for some time now, I made it with garlicky, buttery beans as a side dish. It’s easy enough to make even on a workday evening and I think it would also go well with rice or any other greens that you like.

I took it from here (a cool guy that I highly recommend following!) and here’s the (slightly modified) Recipe:

(Serves: 2)

300g Chicken tender
1 egg
1 good tbsp. cornstarch
1 green onion, finely chopped
1 red chili, inely chopped
1 tsp. ginger, finely chopped
1 tsp. garlic, finely chopped
1.5 tbsp. cooking wine
1/2 tsp. 5 spice powder
salt & pepper
2 tsp. sesame oil

Marinate the chicken for 10 minutes with: corn starch, egg, salt & pepper and cooking oil. (Pro Tip: Use only egg white for Originality):

In a pan on medium-high heat, fry the marinated chicken in oil until golden brown, about 5-10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside on a sheet of kitchen paper to drain.

In a clean pan with a little oil, add chili, ginger and garlic and fry until a little browned an aromatic. Add the chicken back and add cooking wine, five-spice and generously salt & pepper. Mix to coat everything nicely. Add the sesame oil, mix again and serve.
