I found an interesting image of some churrasco spits on the internet and thought to myself: Yeah! Why not make them look like a sword? It’d be wide enough to hold any piece of meat firmly and prevent it from rotating on the spit, plus I can poke into the ground if necessary, and – plus plus – it would simply look cool.
As even any non-welder can easily see, I am – well – a non-welder 🙂 , but it works and it holds. (To my partial excuse: I ran out of gas the very moment I fired up the welder, but I didn’t care.). I’ll post some action shots as soon as the weather is steady enough and I’ve got time to fire up the grill. See the measurements below if you want to make your own:
