Wow. Finally I did what I was postponing (procrastinating?) for several weeks now: I ultimately cleaned the munich workshop. Swept and vacuumed the whole place, then tidied up everything thoroughly by stowing away all tools and materials to their intended places. Finally wiped down the workbench and oiled it with linseed oil. That indeed was some work – it took me almost two afternoons.

Some (badly necessary) rules for the future:

  1. Always – yes, ALWAYS! – close the workbench shelve’s curtains. Just. Do. That.
  2. Sweep and vacuum the shop right away.
  3. Put back your tools immediately.
  4. Follow your material storage scheme accurately.
