It’s April now and although the weather is still the usual changeful and somewhat cold, it seems to be time to move the indoor-grown seedlings to the outside to their final home for the year.

Last week, we already dug over and weeded the raised beds in the garden, then attached arches for some foil tunnels. It’s a simple, yet effectice construction made from pipe-mounting brackets and several 2m-lengths of electrical installation pipe.

Now we added the greens. That is to say, I poked some holes into the ground and my wife put the plants in, since I still can’t get down on my knees at the moment – nonetheless this was a big mistake. Bloody knee hurts like fu***ng hell now 馃檨  Gave them some water and now we hope nature takes it’s course.
