Unfortunately Schakkeline isn’t doing well at the moment. She seems to have some kind of an infection, so we had to separate her from the flock to ensure she gets enough food and doesn’t get pecked at by the other girls.
An old wooden transport box (I’m glad I saved it) was the basis for making a small quarantine coop containing an enclosure and a small fresh-air-area. The wifey and my neighbour did an awesome job for the poor girl! We can care better for her when she’s secluded and can recover in peace.
