As much of a little weakling my first cold smoker was, as much of a fu**ing hellraiser is this one. I even have the feeling it might do a little too much…

Side note (if anyone should be interested somehow): If you regulate the Air pump below a certain level it doesn’t work anymore at all. Seems that you have to maintain a certain treshold of air flow to keep the whole thing going. But above that line, the construction works like the heater in hell. With one filling (around 1 ltr.) of wood chips it runs about 1.5 hrs. on a rather low pump setting and there’s an atmosphere like on Titan in the smoker.

So, enough for today. I’ll let the bacon sit until tomorrow morning and then give it a new round of cold smoke. Then I’ll see.
