We had northern german summer lately! 3 days with abundant sun and temps over 26 °C! How incredibly awesome!
Well, there’s reason to fear that that was it for summer and, luckily, we’re back to the normal rainy and 20°C meanwhile (LOL – german media were of course instantly happily scaremongering the usual apocalyptic BS of dry spells and profuse death by the intolerable heat…)
So, what I made might have probably been all for nothing, but here’s the thing anyway: A replaceable, custom made bushing for the extract air hose of my mobile air conditioner. It’s an easy concept: Two boards cut to length to fit into the outside railings of the roller shutters, a hole in the middle to accommodate the outlet tube fitting and that’s it.
Waayyy better than the manufacturer-provided thingy. Just close the shutters above and it’s an airtight enough mostly seamless fit. Installed in no time when needed and easy to stow away.
