How cool is that? A neighbour gave us some stackable wooden boxes, which were previously used for transportation purposes, but were now scheduled for disposal. They’re designed to fit snugly onto a standard Euro-Pallet and are sturdy and convenient. Plus, they’re perfectly suitable to make some raised beds of them! Thanks a lot dear neighbour!

I used some of them to make some kind of a container garden facing the greenhouse, some are now additional raised vegetable beds and I reserved one of them for a mushroom growing patch. It’s advisable to give them a coat of linseed oil or any other outdoor wood treatment before use to toughen them up a little against the weather, but that’s easy work and done quickly.

Meanwhile I’ve learned that they’re even sold as garden components which I now perfectly understand 🙂
