I’m on a diet at the moment but I’m absolutely willing to have the occasional cheat day, so I made a classic german treat for me and the SO: Currywurst! Here’s the recipe for Alex’s special Currywurst-Sauce!

Ingredients:

1 can of tomatoes, pureed (~ 400g)
1 heaping tbsp. curry powder
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
2-3 tbsp. honey (depending on your taste)
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce

Cook this on low heat for 10 – 15 minutes. Pour over fried pork sausage and dust with curry powder. I served it with potato wedges.
