My basic, easy and quick recipe for a really yummy pasta sauce. This base sauce can then also easily be honed up to your liking.

Ingredients:

500 g ripe tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, chopped finely
1 small onion or shallot, diced finely
8 large basil leaves, cut in thin strips
30 g butter + 1 tbsp. olive oil
1 hearty dash white wine
Salt & pepper

Procedure:

Dice the tomatoes, chop the garlic and shallot, cut the basil leaves.

In a pan, melt the butter and add the olive oil. On medium heat, cook the garlic and onions until translucent then add the tomatoes and slowly cook for about 10 minutes. Add the wine, stirring and let reduce a little. Finally add the basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add your pasta directly from the pot to the pan, mix and serve. (Photo is just for show 🙂 )
